Ballistic Wall Panels

CFI offers Ballistic Resistant Wall Paneling. These panels are part of a modular system based on years of custom-built solutions which provide bullet-resistance while seamlessly integrating with existing building structures, saferooms and features.

These fiberglass panels are designed for ballistics resistance. The panels are manufactured using specially constructed glass reinforcements in a proprietary resin matrix. The panel components are then cured in a controlled cycle. When struck by a bullet or other projectile, the armor panels delaminate in a way that absorbs the energy and stops the projectile.

Thousands of these panels have been purchased by the military, law enforcement, and numerous private and public sector organizations to provide an extra layer of protection in a host of different environments.

Ballistic-resistant wall paneling allows every building or home to incorporate a safe area. Cost-effective and non-intrusive, panels can be fabricated to any size needed for a given project and covered with wood paneling, PLAM paneling, dry wall, or any other material the project requires to ensure architectural and design integrity.

This includes commercial, residential, government and military facilities, banks, credit unions, retail, check cashing, correctional facilities, courthouses, dispensaries, police stations, safe rooms, schools, public safety facilities and stadiums.

Panels are typically available in 4’x8’ configurations and in thicknesses from 1/8″ to ½” (custom sizing is available). Panels are tested in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 752 requirements for Levels 1-8 (including Supplementary Shotgun).

When paired with our available Ballistic Resistant Doors and Accessories, the system provides an additional layer of protection in a wide array of settings.

These Wall Panels are designed to standard architectural guidelines and specifications for ballistic protection.
Bulletproof characteristics are provided by pultruded ballistic grade fiberglass impregnated with thermoset resin constructed into rigid flat sheets. Fiberglass and resin mix meets or exceeds UL 752 standards for ballistic resistant panels in each of the UL levels.
