Autonomous Filtration & Laboratory Grade Air Purification

CFI offers the Erlab HALO air purifier for laboratories and environments requiring lab grade purification. This autonomous ceiling or wall mounted unit can filter and recirculate air without an HVAC connection. The HALO is easy to install and maximizes floor space.

HALO Smart technology guarantees lab grade air quality by filtering viruses, chemicals and bacterial pollutants. This eliminates the need for HVAC based filtering and air purification, which often incur much higher costs. Additionally, the HALO system captures viruses, pathogens, gases and VOCs in the room so they are not recirculated through the building via HVAC ductwork. The unit is a great addition to other workspace hygiene solutions.

Benefits of the HALO Smart System

Lab grade air purifier technology

In some environments, the strictest level of molecular and particulate standards must be followed. Other situations require effective solutions to meet state or local health guidelines. Regardless of the use case, the Erlab HALO air purification system offers extreme levels of efficiency.

The HALO C (carbon) is designed to be filtration compliant with NF X 15-211. The model C can be tailored for VOCs, formaldehyde or acids, organics, inorganics and bases.

The model P is designed to house HEPA or ULPA filters. These filters offer particulate filtration with an extremely high degree of efficiency to capture viruses and bacteria. The HALO offers H14 HEPA medical grade filtration, and is certified to meet EN1822 standards at 99.99%.

Air Quality Without The Need for HVAC Upgrades

Retrofitting your current HVAC system to handle air purification needs is costly. The Erlab air purification Halo units are a great alternative. Not only do they provide room level mitigation, the units themselves are not permanently affixed.

If your lab moves or expands, these wall or ceiling mounted units can be brought to the new space, unlike an HVAC update.

    Reduce Viruses and Bacterial Pollutants

Now more than ever, it is important to reduce the chances of viral spread. The HALO system reduces the likelihood of virus propagation by filtering molecules from the air. With a ULPA U17 filter installed, the system can work continuously to draw in dirty air and recirculate clean air.

    Standalone Unit With Easy Installation

As a stand-alone unit, the HALO purifier does not require HVAC retrofitting or air renewal systems. This saves on installation time and costs. Air is filtered in the same room and recirculated instead of being vented into the atmosphere.

The unit can be mounted either on the ceiling or wall (HEPA H14 only). This further increases space optimization and accounts for multiple lab configurations or design considerations.

    Erlab HALO Filter Options

The HALO works with two types of filters: carbon and HEPA H14 Particulate filters. The carbon option enables the unit to absorb toxic chemicals. The H14 filter removes viruses, bacterial pollutants and allergens from the room.

This makes it a great option for rooms or labs with multiple personnel present at any a given time. Additionally, the unit can be used in areas where critical health risk scenarios might exist.

    Device Connectivity & Real-Time Monitoring

The SMART technology embedded in the HALO allows it to communicate with electronic devices. Change filter warnings, fan failure and usage time status updates can be pushed to phones, tablets or computers through the eGuard® app. Internet connectivity is available through a standard RJ45 ethernet cable.

A soft light on the HALO notifies personnel about basic filtration info. A slow, pulsing light communicates the status of the unit to personnel.

The HALO also has an integrated alarm contact for building management and building automation systems.

    Energy Savings

The unit uses only 50w and is UL and ETL listed.

If you are looking for an air purifier for your laboratory or workspace, look no further than the HALO. It is a flexible solution that meets the needs of today’s strict socially distanced environments. Laboratories, medical environments, nursing and assisted living homes, universities and clean rooms can all benefit from this solution.
