Wastewater Laboratory
The Aqua Ohio wastewater lab features laboratory grade painted steel casework with chemical resistant phenolic countertops. A benchtop fume hood with flammable and acid cabinets below was a centerpiece to this room.
Autoclave/Acid Storage
The client required an area for the autoclave/steam sterilizer and acid storage of hazardous materials.
Drinking Water Laboratory
CFI collaborated with the construction team in the design process to optimize the furniture and equipment process. The center custom island work stations feature painted metal tables with hanging cabinets for document storage/paperwork. The tables are also used for prepping CBOD and ammonia testing. Phenolic countertops were chosen beacuse of the chemical non-porous, easy cleaning surface.

CFI collaborated with DBS Building systems creating detailed submittal drawings based of the design-build meetings and discussions. DBS also coordinated schedules and various trades needing to be involved to making this a succesful project!
